SCR MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION, INC.
SCR provides door-to-door, demand-responsive, customer-service based transportation for physically challenged individuals. We provide shared transportation service to all those eligible for Paratransit services under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as approved individually by the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA). We are also directly contracted through the Veterans Administration in the Chicagoland region, parts of Indiana and Wisconsin. Serving the Greater Chicago-land area and surrounding suburbs since 1986, SCR now employs close to 600 people and operates a fleet of over 300 vehicles, mostly vans and sedans equipped for the transportation of those with special needs.
